Printable Roster

Looking for a way to print your course roster for the first day of class? Head to the “People” page of your course. In the top-right corner is a new button/link to a page of larger headshots suitable for printing.


Default Grade Scheme

Due to popular demand, the default grade scheme has been updated to:


3rd party Integrations

The following 3rd party tools have been installed and are available for all faculty:

EduApp Center is an excellent resource for browsing potential integrations. If you are currently utilizing a tool on this list, please reach out to computing@berry.edu so we can bring it into our Canvas environment.


Canvas Attendance Tool

A significantly more effective attendance tool has been installed in all Canvas courses. The previous attendance tool has been disabled (but is available upon request if needed for past courses). Video instructions & documentation will be available by January 2nd, 2019.


Summer Online Course Workshop

Berry will offer a specific training opportunity for faculty teaching summer online courses. At least one session will be offered in March, led by instructional design and Canvas support staff. Learn best practice and top strategies for posting assignments, syllabus, video, and more.


Topical Webinars

Canvas-led topical webinars are now available on virtually every major Canvas feature: gradebook, group work, online quizzes, course communication, etc. Webinars are offered on a set rotating schedule – contact computing@berry.edu to request a list of upcoming sessions.
