The Jade is easily recognizeable with its round, fleshy leaves the grow in opposing pairs. <\/span>The flowers are small, star-shaped, and white or pale pink in color.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style8\">The Jade Plant has two alternative scientific names: <em>C. portulacea<\/em> and <em>C. argentea<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\" align=\"left\" valign=\"top\"><span class=\"style10\">Area<\/span><\/th>\n<td valign=\"top\"><span class=\"style9\">The Jade Plant is native to South Africa.
