Trips"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In my upper-level biology courses, I take students on field trips to a variety of destinations.\u00a0\u00a0These include: <a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/St._Catherines_Island\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">St. Catherines Island<\/a><span class=\"Style14\"> off the coast of Georgia, the <\/span><a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jonesctr.org\/\">Jones Ecological Research Center at Ichauway<\/a><span class=\"Style14\"> in southwest Georgia, the <\/span><a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/coweeta.ecology.uga.edu\/\">Coweeta Hydrologic Lab<\/a><span class=\"Style14\"> and the <\/span><a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wcu.edu\/hbs\/\">Highlands Biological Station<\/a><span class=\"Style14\"> in western North Carolina, <\/span><a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zooatlanta.org\/\">Zoo Atlanta<\/a><span class=\"Style14\">, and <\/span><a class=\"linkStyle_31\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.org\/wherewework\/northamerica\/states\/georgia\/preserves\/art20700.html\">Black\u2019s Bluff<\/a><span class=\"Style14\"> in Rome, Georgia.\u00a0\u00a0The trips are great learning experiences, we visit fascinating natural areas, they build camaraderie among the class, and we have lots
