Edward Watson\u2019s book, <em data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"569\">Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning<\/em><\/a>. Designed for faculty and staff across academic and administrative roles, the series created space to examine how AI is reshaping teaching, advising, learning, and professional workflows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"1028\">Each session combined small-group dialogue with hands-on assignments. Topics included AI ethics and literacy, using AI to streamline repetitive tasks, building a custom tutor using Stanford\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/bot101.app\/\">Bot101<\/a>, and exploring the educational possibilities of <a href=\"https:\/\/notebooklm.google\/\">Google\u2019s NotebookLM<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1092\"><strong data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1066\">What did participants take away?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1092\">Participants attended an average of 3.5 out of 4 sessions.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1225\">88% found the small-group discussions either\u00a0<em>somewhat\u00a0<\/em>or <em data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1222\">extremely helpful<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1286\">Nearly half rated the AI assignments <em data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1283\">extremely useful<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1386\">Two-thirds left the series feeling <em data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1345\">extremely confident<\/em> in using AI in their professional tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1649\">The series sparked thoughtful conversations about how to use AI responsibly, creatively, and ethically in higher education. Participants also voiced interest in future offerings\u2014particularly discipline-specific workshops, use-case panels, and peer-led training.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1651\"
